Oddly enough, various countries have their own definitions of hemp. For example, Health Canada views hemp as products of the Cannabis Sativa plant that possess no more than 0.3 percent THC. However, America views hemp as all parts of Cannabis Sativa plants that possess zero psychoactive effects.
All in all, hemp’s array of benefits and ability to extract CBD is widely recognized and appreciated.
Even though hemp and cannabis plants are different than one another, they also share various similarities. The benefits these plants can deliver are powerful, especially providing CBD to consumers. Despite Cannabidiol being a versatile cannabinoid, where CBD comes from is also versatile.

“Cannabis” is the overarching term to refer to hemp and marijuana plants. Hemp and marijuana both produce identical buds, stalks and leaves. Their differences simply exist on a cellular level.
