Men’s Health Awareness Month: June
Happy Men’s Health Awareness Month!
This June, Infinite CBD wants to share what we know regarding men’s health. Learn how CBD can be an active participant in your daily health rituals. Whether it be capsule, topical or indigestible, the general addition of CBD can improve your overall quality of life!
According to recent studies, there are a handful of factors that played into the mortality rates of men within the last few years. This is a statistic that Infinite CBD wants to help reduce. Heart disease comes in first as the leading factor, followed by cancer and suicide. Fortunately, there is a vast pool of studies to reference that indicate the relationship between CBD and these health issues.
While there are not many experts who would argue in favor of CBD directly influencing heart disease overall, there are plenty of studies that hint towards the links between CBD and factors that can lead to heart disease.
In a study published by PubMed.gov, many experts collaborated on a study in which they focused on male, albino rats and the cardiovascular effects after being exposed to CBD particles. In general, these individuals recognized a significant drop in heart rates and the rate as which blood was flowing through their entire cardiovascular systems. Since acquiring these results, CBD companies around the world have worked to incorporate CBD into regular health regimens in the hope of combating cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Sean McAllister of the Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco has expanded our understanding of CBD through his studies. His research suggests when in contact with CBD, the spreading of cancer cells is interrupted and can act as tumor prevention. His research was published via California Pacific Medical Center Research Institute and has been a major contestant in beginning to explore the potential benefits cancer patients can consider when determining their treatment plans. Moreover, the sheer preventive capabilities of CBD lead this to be an effective addition to man’s health regimen.
Suicide has been a major epidemic within society and depression in particular has been closely linked to suicide rates. In 2017, men died by suicide 3.54x more often than women. While there are some studies to represent 2018, the statistics are still being collected and make it difficult to have a stern claim in any regard.
The relationship between mental health and CBD is covered by countless researchers and scientists. Professionals and patients have found that in some cases, CBD has been more effective in treating a range of mental health issues, ranging from schizophrenia to depression. After completing a study exploring the therapeutic potential of CBD, José Crippa, a professor at the University of São Paul, stated, “CBD is a useful and promising molecule that may help patients with a number of clinical conditions.”
After an explosion of research that began in the 1970’s, the relationship between CBD and depression grew exponentially more popular in the scientific community. Reported by Crippa in 2009, there is a vast pool of information readily available to build an argument in favor of CBD assisting with relieving patients of symptoms related to depression.
As a healthy man, it takes dedication to create a health regimen that works best for your lifestyle. Whether you’re someone who prefers to head to the gym for exercise, a stern dieter or if you’re someone that falls between the two, CBD is here to take you to the next level. Consider the world around you, recognize the issues that men across the world face and take a stance against what can hold men back.
During the 2019 Men’s Health Awareness Month, educate yourself and take steps to live outside of the statistic.
