One of most common uses of CBD is inflammation. In addition to a daily regime of CBD, fight Inflammation with these 10 foods…
Blueberries; Anti-inflammatory prescription: Include half a cup of blueberries in your diet several times a week, like in this delicious smoothie.
Ginger; Anti-inflammatory prescription: Add one teaspoon of dried ginger powder or one tablespoon of fresh ginger root to your meals a few times a week.
Cacao; Anti-inflammatory prescription: Eat a square of 85% dark chocolate a day (that’s right!) or, better yet, use raw cacao powder and cacao nibs for the antioxidant benefits without the sugar.
Turmeric; Anti-inflammatory prescription: Add ½ teaspoon of dried turmeric powder or ½ inch of the fresh root to your diet a few times a week.
Green tea; Anti-inflammatory prescription: Replace one of your daily coffees with green tea (coconut milk matcha latte, anyone?) or try cooled green tea as the liquid base of your smoothie.

GINGER TURMERIC WATER KEFIR
3 cups raw coconut water (I used Harmless Harvest)
1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 Tablespoon peeled and freshly grated ginger root
1 Tablespoon peeled and freshly grated turmeric root OR 1 ½ teaspoons powdered turmeric
1 packet Body Ecology water kefir starter (I use this one)
Favorite CBD Product
Add the coconut water and orange juice to a saucepan and very gently heat to lukewarm, or about 90 degrees F.
Into a quart-sized mason jar, add the coconut water and orange juice mixture together with the contents of one foil packet of kefir starter.
Add ginger and turmeric.
Stir to mix well. Put lid on mason jar.
Let this mixture ferment at room temperature (72-75 degrees F) for 24 hours.
Remove the lid and taste. For a tangier drink, let sit for another 12-24 hours.
When you’re happy with the flavor, stir again, put on the lid and place into the refrigerator.

Stress triggers the nervous system which tells the body “fight or flight.” When we don’t properly nourish our bodies it fights back. Try incorporating healthy foods into your diet, in addition to CBD to help naturally fight stress.

Diet and the endocannabinoid system
The endocannabinoid system is essential to the regulation of biological processes. Specifically with diet, our ECS helps to control appetite, food intake, and energy balance. According to research, the ECS modulates rewarding properties with food by acting at specific mesolimbic areas in the brain. Providing your body with the proper nutrients can start with your appetite. If you don’t have an appetite or overeat, it can be a challenge to give your body what is necessary. Start regulating your appetite with CBD and nutrition.
CBD and Nutrition; Fat-browning
Research conducted in 2016, concludes CBD may be explored as a potentially promising therapeutic agent for the prevention of obesity. Korean researchers studied the effects of CBD on fat browning. Results demonstrate that CBD has a role in turning white fat into brown fat.
What is brown fat?
White fat and brown fat both serve their purposes but too much white fat can lead to obesity and health issues. Brown fat stores energy and is known as a potential remedy for metabolic issues and obesity. It can also help burn calories to aid in weight loss.
CBD Food and Drink
Adding CBD to your daily food and drink routine is an easy and convenient way receive what CBD has to offer. Not only are you getting the potential benefits of CBD, but you are also getting the nutrients you need to survive from your food or drink.
